The New York Coalition of Black Architects (nycoba) | New York Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA), is a professional design association aimed at promoting the work, contributions, and participation of minorities in the fields of design and architecture. Through our professional and educational programming, we hope to encourage dialogues and policy that will enact a larger move towards greater diversity and inclusion in the profession.

We inspire, inform and educate designers by providing a forum for members to realize their talents and advocate their design value among the media, the business community, public agencies, and the general public. The organization is committed to stimulating thoughtful discussions about our roles in design through conferences, competitions, exhibitions, and publications.

nycoba|NOMA's mission is to advance the influential voices and promote the quality and excellence of minority design professionals.
