We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our practice. The selected candidate will play an integral role in our 125-person firm which is focused on designing architecture that serves communities and enlivens the urban environment. The HR Generalist will manage day-to-day HR functions and reporting directly to the Managing Principal. We are looking for a thoughtful, effective, responsive professional. The position is an opportunity for an individual who cares about design, is committed to EDI, and believes in the importance of life-long learning to grow and evolve along with our firm.
Day-to-day functions of our HR department including recruiting, on boarding, benefits administration, and payroll
Represent firm’s values and culture to prospective and current employees
Manage our Quarterly Employee Engagement Cycle, including annual reviews and mid-year check ins
Compliance and Reporting, Record Keeping, Policy development
Serve as member of EDI Committee
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree, Certificate in HR
5 years of applicable experience, preferably in architectural industry
Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
Excellent communication skills
Organized and detail oriented, able to prioritize and meet deadlines
Experience with FMLA and PFL, EEO Compliance, and Reporting
A strong understanding of analytics and ability to think strategically
Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
Experience running Payroll
Experience with Deltek Vision preferred
Experience with MS Office Suite
Notary Public a plus
Authorization to work in the United States
