Architectural Intern
Amie Gross Architects (AGA) is a full-service firm in NYC that has been designing equitable
and engaging spaces for diverse communities since 1984. AGA is a recognized leader in the
design of affordable and supportive multi-family housing. We practice community-based
design and are strongly committed to using architecture to help address social inequity
through housing, healthcare, education, and mixed-use projects. For more information on
our latest projects, please visit our website: AmieGrossArchitects.com
AGA is seeking an individual who prioritizes the values that AGA designs upon, to assume the
position of Architectural Intern. As an Architectural Intern at AGA, you will have the opportunity
to learn and experience the process behind building the architecture of New York City. AGA is
committed to exposing the candidate to all stages of the architectural process, from preliminary
design, through building policy, such as zoning laws, ADA and HPD requirements, to the
construction phase. The ideal candidate understands the power of the built environment and,
therefore, the responsibility to create a more equitable city through design.
The candidate for the role of Architectural Intern must be working towards their Bachelor’s or
Master’s degree from an accredited Architectural program. This paid part-time position will
require a minimum 20-hour work week. We understand that school is an essential priority, and
we will work with you to accommodate your school schedule. Compensation will be
proportionate to experience and skills.
Note: This will be an in-person internship, as the collaborative, hands-on work we do is
impractical to achieve remotely. We request that all applicants share their vaccination
status with AGA.

Good people/communication skills, ability to present ideas, and comfortable working collaboratively
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
Excellent Microsoft 365 and Adobe Suite skills
