Project Description: The Connor Group Headquarters: This new corporate headquarters building is located on a seven acre site adjacent to the Dayton-Wright Brothers Airport. It is the Owner’s desire to create a world-class headquarters facility with the building as iconic statement for the firm’s brand. As a progressive company, the new facility capitalizes on the latest technologies and environmental planning concepts allowing for more efficient and functional environments. In addition to serving the needs of the company, the owner intends for it to be a community asset that will play host to community meetings.

How did you first learn about engineering and when did you decide that it was an area of interest for you?

I learned after seeing drawings done by a friend’s father. I decided it was for me in the seventh grade.


What do you do?

CEO & Principal in charge of design


What do you enjoy most about your job?

Completing a well-designed project and seeing happy clients


What excites you in the work you do?

There is always another challenge!


Who or what inspires you professionally?

I’m inspired by many different architects that accomplishes similar goals that I have.


What is your proudest professional accomplishment or achievement?

Being advanced to Fellowship (FAIA) and winning and completing the OSU Schottenstein Arena having played point guard for OSU when I was a student.


How long have you been involved with nycoba NOMA?

I have been a NOMA member for over 20 years.


Why are you a nycoba NOMA member?

I am a NOMA member because of the networking.
